A night of stand-up comedy has topped over £100K online viewers and raised over £8k to support local young people with disabilities to enjoy the arts.

Local comic Irving McCormick supported by the Cambridge Junction hosted a live charity virtual event streamed across multiple social media platforms.

With comedy from Richard Herring, Harry Hill, Lost Voice Guy, Simon Panrucker, Jonathan Pie, Lucy Porter, Aaron Simmonds and The King’s Singers.

Event Streaming .TV were delighted to be involved and stream the two-hour event live from their new Cambridge studios. Lockdown has seen a demand from companies wanting help connecting staff and customers and Event Streaming .TV has the ability to stream six unique virtual events simultaneously using professional vision mixers with high production values.

This free charity event was streamed simultaneously to the Junctions Website from the Event Streaming .TV studio across multiple Facebook accounts and quickly gained a huge online engaged audience.

Donations are of course still welcome: www.justgiving.com/campaign/stand-up-with-irving

Tom streaming producer at Event Streaming .TV commented “Facebook is the ideal platform for audience interaction, comments and sharing. We’ve streamed many events, conferences and shows and our clients have always been staggered by the level of engagement. The key is obviously promotion and Facebook helps there as well allowing for events to be scheduled up to a week in advance. We’re delighted this charity event was so successful and continues to draw in much needed funds”
